Established in 2001 by a small group of friends united by a passion for winemaking, Working Dog Winery began as a shared dream rooted in friendship, agriculture, and craftsmanship. What started as a modest vineyard has grown into approximately 17 acres of vines cultivating 12 different grape varietals, proudly contributing to New Jersey’s thriving wine community.

After 23 years of dedication and growth, the founding members passed the torch in December 2024, entrusting the winery’s future to Carlee Ludwig, Sharon Kyle, and Kevin Kyle as they entered retirement. Today, the next generation carries forward the original vision — honoring tradition while embracing innovation — ensuring Working Dog Winery continues to flourish for years to come.
