FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is there to do at Working Dog Winery?

We are offering wines by the bottle to enjoy on the winery grounds or to take home. We also offer our guests the option of wine by the glass and guided professional wine tastings. We also hope that you come and enjoy the musical artists and food trucks we have scheduled. You can check out the UPCOMING EVENTS  by visiting the home page.

Do we need to make reservations?

We do not take reservations. There is limited space on the patio and seating on the patio is limited to groups of 5 or less. Up to 12 guests are permitted on the winery grounds, just adjacent to the patio. Please bring chairs, pop-up tents, umbrellas and/or blankets to make yourselves comfortable. We cannot permit parties of any kind and require all limos to arrive before noon. Although we do not require reservations for wine tasting, these are recommended.

Do you sell food?

Although we do not sell food, we  are happy to allow guests to bring food to enjoy. We encourage small bites that go great with our wines, like cheese, crackers and fruit. Check out the OUR WINES page for suggested wine pairing ideas. Sandwiches are permitted but we ask please: NO large hoagies and NO pizza. Also, no liquids of any kind are permitted to be brought in from the outside. We offer water, soft drinks, Gatorade and a variety of non -alcoholic beverages for sale.

Are dogs permitted?

We are all dog lovers at WORKING DOG WINERY and LOVE seeing your dogs enjoy the winery with you. Please keep in mind that your pooch needs to be leashed and must remain on the lawn area of the winery (no patio, no inside) and must remain with their owner during their time at the winery. And of course please be sure to clean up after your pup. WOOF!

What should we bring when we visit?

Bring snacks, pop-up tents, umbrellas, folding chairs and blankets for your comfort.  If you forget your glass, NO WORRIES. We will have glasses for purchase for $2 which will be yours to keep. Please be sure to bring a water bowl for your dog. We can offer tap water for their bowls.  Please do not bring liquids of any kind, pizza, hoagies, etc. Please see the VISITING THE WINERY page for additional details and information.

Are children permitted to come to the winery?

In September 2020, the difficult decision was made to go to 21 and over only. Concerns about guests who are not properly parenting have grown over the previous years and after several incidents, this policy was inacted to ensure a relaxing and stress-free environment for all of our guests. At this time, Working Dog Winery remains 21 and over only. No children are permitted on the winery grounds.

How long can we stay?

Feel free to sit, relax and enjoy the day with us! Just keep in mind that in cases of inclement weather, we cannot offer indoor space to large groups or guests that cannot be accommodated at a table.  Please also know that we cannot open any bottles starting 45 minutes prior to closing. You can take any unfinished bottles home however and can purchase bottles for home up until closing time. The grounds and patio must be vacated at or before closing time.
